Theresa Harris, M.A., LPC-S Licensed Professional Counselor | Transitional Counseling Specialist | Person-Centered Therapist Theresa Harris is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas and a current doctoral student pursuing advanced studies in Counselor Education and Supervision. With over a decade of professional experience in the mental health and human services field, Theresa brings a compassionate, person-centered approach to therapy, meeting clients where they are with empathy, respect, and authenticity. Theresa specializes in transitional counseling, supporting individuals navigating significant life changes such as foster care transitions, reentry from incarceration, aging out of youth services, and career or educational shifts. Her therapeutic practice is grounded in building a safe, trusting relationship that fosters personal growth, resilience, and self-determination. Throughout her career, Theresa has worked extensively with underserved populations, including adolescents in residential treatment centers, families involved in the child welfare system, and adults facing reintegration challenges.
